The promos of Ranbir Kapoors’s forthcoming film will have his father shaking a leg to one of his biggest hits of yesteryear, reports Prithwish Ganguly Ranbir Kapoor will dance with his father Rishi Kapoor in one of the promotional songs of his forthcoming film Bachna Ae Haseeno, a fun romantic film that will feature the Kishore Kumar sung hit song from Rishi’s film Hum Kissi Se Kum Nahin. The song Bachna ae haseena was a rage in the late 1970s and has been remixed even by several musicians in the present generation.
The Ranbir Kapoor-starrer directed by Siddharth Anand, who has previously made Salaam Namaste and Ta Ra Rum Pum, will feature Kishore’s song in the background of the glitzy promo that will see Ranbir and his daddy Rishi shake their legs. Bachna ae haseeno, a film from the Yash Raj Films stable, will be released on August 15 this year. Siddharth says Bachna ae haseeno will be a glossy frothy film that will see Ranbir romancing not one but three Bollywood damsels, Deepika Padukone, Bipasha Basu and Minissha Lamba. It will be very interesting to see the on-screen chemistry between the real-life couple Ranbir and Deepika who publicly say that they are head over heels in love. Another interesting bit in this emerging scenario is that Kishore Kumar and Leena Chandavarkar’s son Sumeet is singing this song for Ranbir, much like his father Kishore had sung for Ranbir’s dad. “Rishi Kapoor is a part of the song. He will be seen dancing on this hit song Bachna Ae Haseeno with his son Ranbir. It’s a great video. There’s lot of drama and glamour too,” says a source close to the film. “Siddharth is overjoyed, so is the Kapoor family. It will be a great USP for the film.” Siddharth wants to make the film an out-and-out entertaining movie with a great visual appeal. The team has shot in several international locations and it has been quite a hectic and gruelling filming schedule for the cast and crew alike who have been filming since November last year. When contacted, a Yashraj spokesperson had nothing to say about this number. In fact, the spokesperson denied such a development. Now, we will just have to wait till mid August to see the Kapoor magic come alive on screen again, with the father son duo! Source : DNA India
